CakePHP E-Commerce Solutions

I spent a little bit of time testing out two CakePHP e-commerce solutions that I found today: BakeSale and CakeCart. I installed the latest versions of each and attempted to play around as much as I could. BakeSale seems to be the more mature of the two, but I couldn’t get BakeSale to install. I posted some on each of their forums with the issues I had while installing. So far I dont think either are a good solution for professional installations.

The burning question: Does anyone know of a solid E-Commerce solution written in CakePHP?

I am also looking for a forums solution as well. Please Comment!

I guess there isn’t one. I’ve looked throughout CakePHP, CodeIgnitor and some other MVC’s and have only found Magento (Zend) as any sort of professional level e-commerce.

Magento takes quite a lot of work to customize and get configured too.

Anybody out there have success in e-commerce with an MVC? Why is OSCommerce still around with the amazing potential of MVC?

    I don’t know… Oh well…

I’ve been looking for a working CakePHP e-commerce script too.
Please update me if you get any.

    Thanks

There was a bakery article in December about a platform written by a UK company called UGR (ugrworks.com). I tried the demo, seemed pretty good but I’m looking for a free one. Any suggestions?

You could try Mocha Shopping Cart. They are still in beta but there is a rumor they may be opening their source. I know for a fact that it was done in CakePHP.
